Please review the following submission requirements before submitting your work.

• Submissions should ideally be 1–10 pages.
• Longer submissions are welcome; however, due to time and volume constraints, submissions longer than 10 pages may not be read in their entirety.
• Our team will read as much of a longer submission as time permits.
• If your submission is longer than 10 pages, please make sure the opening pages provide a strong introduction to your work.

• Submissions should be the writer’s original work.
• Please do not submit work that has been copied from another author or creator.
• If the work includes material created by someone else, appropriate permission or attribution should be provided when applicable.

The Writer’s Melon strives to maintain a respectful and inclusive environment.

We will not accept submissions containing:

• Racist or discriminatory content
• Homophobic or hateful content
• Sexually inappropriate or explicit material
• Harassment, threats, or targeted attacks
• Content that promotes hatred or discrimination against individuals or groups
• Other material that The Writer’s Melon determines to be inappropriate for our audience

• Please proofread your submission before sending it.
• Submissions should be reasonably easy to read and understand.
• Please use clear formatting and include a title.
• If submitting a longer work, consider including page numbers.

• Multiple submissions may be accepted; however, please avoid submitting a large number of pieces at once.
• Each submission should be submitted as a separate work unless otherwise requested.

Submitting your work does not guarantee publication, presentation, or discussion on The Writer’s Melon Podcast or website.

All submissions are subject to review. Our team reserves the right to determine which works are appropriate for publication, podcast discussion, or other use.

We encourage constructive, respectful, and thoughtful creative expression. Differences in opinions and perspectives are welcome, but submissions should be presented in a manner that respects others.
